As the title indicates, the film revisits the 1970’s, the Disco years, the Dance Clubs, the parties, the Jet set. It’s a must for Disco fans!
The sound design is realistic; it was inspired by films from the same period. Music is one of the main attractions; it plays in the surround in the clubs, which clashes with the sobriety of the general treatment.
The film was shot almost exclusively around Montreal. We used several original recordings from the 70’s, among them, traffic, pedestrians, crowds, sirens, bus and old telephones. The use of vintage sounds brings originality to the soundtrack. The 1971 Jaguar was found on Sounddogs.com, a valuable resource in case of emergency!
